A.G. Layne & Sunland Chemical Introduce Automated Hazardous Chemical Bottling System

Sunland Chemical & Research Corporation is excited to announce a major upgrade to our production capabilities with the installation of a fully automated, high-speed bottling and packaging machine. This advanced system is a key part of our ongoing investment in eficiency, safety, and precision—further enhancing our ability to meet the complex needs of our customers in the chemical industry.

Our new bottling line features 8 high-speed filling heads, an automatic capper, and an integrated labeler, all designed for seamless operation. Most notably, it can accommodate a wide range of container sizes—from as small as 4 ounces to as large as 128 ounces. This versatility allows us to serve a broader range of packaging requirements while maintaining rapid throughput and consistent quality, regardless of bottle size.

Engineered specifically for hazardous materials, the system is optimized to handle flammable, combustible, corrosive, and oxidizing chemicals with full compliance to regulatory and safety standards. Whether it’s small-volume specialty batches or high-volume industrial runs, this machine ensures every product is filled, capped, and labeled with precision and care.

With this investment, Sunland Chemical becomes the only vertically integrated company on the West Coast capable of handling flammable chemicals from railcar to 4-ounce bottle—all in-house. This unique capability gives us full control over quality, safety, and logistics, enabling faster turnaround times and reduced supply chain complexity for our customers. We’re proud to set a new standard in chemical packaging and look forward to delivering even greater value across the industries we serve.
